What is a Clairvoyant?
I have often been asked what Clairvoyance actually means. The word Clairvoyance is often associated with psychic powers. It is actually a form of extra-sensory perception. The word is derived from two French words: clair: meaning clear and voyance: meaning visibility.
Clairvoyants are people with the ability to gain insight about persons, locations or physical events by seeing beyond the five senses. We have the inquirer ask specific questions that are relative to their current situation. When beginning to work with a client it is important to have those first questions in order to tap into their personal energy or view of the situation. I tell my clients that this is a way to focus on their particular situation. When asked this first set of questions I will look for something I call an event horizon. This is a place in time where there is extreme sadness, anger, peace or desire, and is the precursor to the present event.
During a reading it is also possible to have loved ones who are interested in connecting with the living to pass on information, or to just let someone know they made it over to the other side. There is not always a message sometimes it can be merely an image whereby I pass this on to the client. If there are specific questions for the deceased it is not always possible to get the answers, but the likelihood is good that you will get something. One must remember though that speaking with the deceased is not as easy as dialing 1-800-the-deceased. So keeping that in mind will help during your reading. If there is something of importance they will find a way to let you know.
Having reasonable expectations and, clear concise questions will help your reading flow with ease. If you are skeptical that’s ok, be respectful and patient you may be in for an interesting surprise. As with all my readings if you find that you are dissatisfied say so, and I will immediately refund. I like to be able to sleep at night and know that my days work was done in a proper manner with respect and dignity to your needs.
Finding Your Purpose in Life
How do you discover your real purpose in life? I’m not talking about your job, your daily responsibilities, or even your long-term goals. I mean the real reason why you’re here at all — the very reason you exist.
Perhaps you’re a rather nihilistic person who doesn’t believe you have a purpose and that life has no meaning. Doesn’t matter. Not believing that you have a purpose won’t prevent you from discovering it, just as a lack of belief in gravity won’t prevent you from tripping. All that a lack of belief will do is make it take longer, so if you’re one of those people, just change the number 20 in the title of this blog entry to 40 (or 60 if you’re really stubborn). Most likely though if you don’t believe you have a purpose, then you probably won’t believe what I’m saying anyway, but even so, what’s the risk of investing an hour just in case?
Here’s a story about Bruce Lee which sets the stage for this little exercise. A master martial artist asked Bruce to teach him everything Bruce knew about martial arts. Bruce held up two cups, both filled with liquid. “The first cup,” said Bruce, “represents all of your knowledge about martial arts. The second cup represents all of my knowledge about martial arts. If you want to fill your cup with my knowledge, you must first empty your cup of your knowledge.”
If you want to discover your true purpose in life, you must first empty your mind of all the false purposes you’ve been taught (including the idea that you may have no purpose at all).
So how to discover your purpose in life? While there are many ways to do this, some of them fairly involved, here is one of the simplest that anyone can do. The more open you are to this process, and the more you expect it to work, the faster it will work for you. But not being open to it or having doubts about it or thinking it’s an entirely idiotic and meaningless waste of time won’t prevent it from working as long as you stick with it — again, it will just take longer to converge.
Here’s what to do:
1. Take out a blank sheet of paper or open up a word processor where you can type (I prefer the latter because it’s faster).
2. Write at the top, “What is my true purpose in life?”
3. Write an answer (any answer) that pops into your head. It doesn’t have to be a complete sentence. A short phrase is fine.
4. Repeat step 3 until you write the answer that makes you cry. This is your purpose.
That’s it. It doesn’t matter if you’re a counselor or an engineer or a bodybuilder. To some people this exercise will make perfect sense. To others it will seem utterly stupid. Usually it takes 15-20 minutes to clear your head of all the clutter and the social conditioning about what you think your purpose in life is. The false answers will come from your mind and your memories. But when the true answer finally arrives, it will feel like it’s coming to you from a different source entirely.
For those who are very entrenched in low-awareness living, it will take a lot longer to get all the false answers out, possibly more than an hour. But if you persist, after 100 or 200 or maybe even 500 answers, you’ll be struck by the answer that causes you to surge with emotion, the answer that breaks you. If you’ve never done this, it may very well sound silly to you. So let it seem silly, and do it anyway.
As you go through this process, some of your answers will be very similar. You may even re-list previous answers. Then you might head off on a new tangent and generate 10-20 more answers along some other theme. And that’s fine. You can list whatever answer pops into your head as long as you just keep writing.
At some point during the process (typically after about 50-100 answers), you may want to quit and just can’t see it converging. You may feel the urge to get up and make an excuse to do something else. That’s normal. Push past this resistance, and just keep writing. The feeling of resistance will eventually pass.
You may also discover a few answers that seem to give you a mini-surge of emotion, but they don’t quite make you cry — they’re just a bit off. Highlight those answers as you go along, so you can come back to them to generate new permutations. Each reflects a piece of your purpose, but individually they aren’t complete. When you start getting these kinds of answers, it just means you’re getting warm. Keep going.
It’s important to do this alone and with no interruptions. If you’re a nihilist, then feel free to start with the answer, “I don’t have a purpose,” or “Life is meaningless,” and take it from there. If you keep at it, you’ll still eventually converge.
When I did this exercise, it took me about 25 minutes, and I reached my final answer at step 106. Partial pieces of the answer (mini-surges) appeared at steps 17, 39, and 53, and then the bulk of it fell into place and was refined through steps 100-106. I felt the feeling of resistance (wanting to get up and do something else, expecting the process to fail, feeling very impatient and even irritated) around steps 55-60. At step 80 I took a 2-minute break to close my eyes, relax, clear my mind, and to focus on the intention for the answer to come to me — this was helpful as the answers I received after this break began to have greater clarity.
Here was my final answer: to live consciously and courageously, to resonate with love and compassion, to awaken the great spirits within others, and to leave this world in peace.
When you find your own unique answer to the question of why you’re here, you will feel it resonate with you deeply. The words will seem to have a special energy to you, and you will feel that energy whenever you read them.
Discovering your purpose is the easy part. The hard part is keeping it with you on a daily basis and working on yourself to the point where you become that purpose.
If you’re inclined to ask why this little process works, just put that question aside until after you’ve successfully completed it. Once you’ve done that, you’ll probably have your own answer to why it works. Most likely if you ask 10 different people why this works (people who’ve successfully completed it), you’ll get 10 different answers, all filtered through their individual belief systems, and each will contain its own reflection of truth.
Obviously, this process won’t work if you quit before convergence. I’d guesstimate that 80-90% of people should achieve convergence in less than an hour. If you’re really entrenched in your beliefs and resistant to the process, maybe it will take you 5 sessions and 3 hours, but I suspect that such people will simply quit early (like within the first 15 minutes) or won’t even attempt it at all. But if you’re drawn to read this blog (and haven’t been inclined to ban it from your life yet), then it’s doubtful you fall into this group.
Give it a shot! At the very least, you’ll learn one of two things: your true purpose in life -or- that you should unsubscribe from this blog.

Developing Your Psychic Abilities
When you learn a new topic it also opens your social range, and allows you to discuss things which you have in common. Is the topic of psychic development for everyone? No, however, it can lead to many interesting paths. Where you obtain your information is extremely important. If you are fortunate enough to have someone in your immediate family to help you through the initial twists and turns of psychic awareness this is most recommended. There are a lot of people out there that claim to have psychic ability; however it is very important before you decide to pick someone to emulate that you first research who they are and what they have done for their community and their clients.
If they are on the level there will be plenty of information, and perhaps even a method to contact and ask questions directly. There are many different types of psychics and their abilities are just as differing as there are types of spices on the planet. I will give a detailed list directly after this article so that you may find your particular area of interest. For now let’s get into some basis steps of obtaining information from spirit. It takes 21 days to either break a habit or create a new one. In the first 21 days it is recommended that you find a method of quieting your mind.
Just as there are many methods of cooking there are just as many when contemplating peace of mind. You may find that there are some religious aspects that can assist you with finding this peace, or you can try some new angles. Some find that prayer (whatever the religious choice) is comforting and stimulates the peace that is needed. There are those who find walking in a natural setting brings about serenity, and those who find listening to waterfalls, or running water from an indoor fountain seems to lull the mind into a quite bliss. Whatever you are most comfortable with use until you find something more suitable.
At first it is only recommended that you meditate, or pray for about 5-10 minutes if you are not used to doing this for a longer length of time. Everything in moderation so that you do not feel forced, or like you have failed if you have not reached your quiet goal time. That’s right set a goal for quiet time. Goal setting is very important to success, and since you are now taking on the goal of becoming more intoned with your spiritual side this is a perfect time to start setting goals. When you reach that point of serenity then what? Ok, so you have met your goal time for quieting your mind now it’s time for the next step. Becoming aware of what is around you.
Wait a minute I thought I was supposed to be quieting my mind; you want me to become aware of all the noise around me too? Much of the daily noise in your life is at some point white noise, or just simply background information. If you are used to a lot of noise such as children, your work place, social activities etc, then you have also learned to pretty much block out what you really don’t want to pay direct attention too. Allow thoughts to come and go freely as if washing in and out on a tide. You will eventually be able to train your mind to pay attention only to quiet time, and not be bothered by mundane daily activity.
If you feel the need you may focus on a question that you are seeking answers too, a single word or a tone to use as a tool for focusing. You may after a number of short sessions of between 10-20 minutes begin to see images, and perhaps even hear information. All of which is very normal. What do I do with the information once I get it? It is recommended that you keep a journal of your sessions for the entire 3 weeks you are working on your psychic journey.
If you are truly in tune with your ability you will start to see patterns. Ask yourself these questions when making your assessment on your session:
1. How did you feel? Your mind, body, soul impressions about the session.
2. Did you see information, hear it, or have a body impression?
3. What was the exact impression you were given?
4. Did you feel a presence in the room when you received the information?
5. Did you feel any sort of temperature change near you when you received this information?
6. Was it a strong impression or weak?
7. Did this impression repeat itself 2 or 3 times?
8. Did you feel comfortable receiving the information?
9. And most importantly do you want to continue doing the sessions?
Once you finish your session and writing in your journal you may want to take a walk in a natural setting, wash your hands in cool water, or take a shower. All of which will help you relax and come back into your daily life effective and informed.
*Authors note: Psychic work is not for everyone, but if you are finding that you are getting answers to questions, or able to help others seek out their own peace of mind then you are truly on your way to psychic development. If you find however, that you are not able to find your niche in the psychic world, do not fret you are born with special abilities, so do your best to find out where your heart sings.
Is My Child Psychic?
Do you live with a child who is having dreams that seem to take life in waking hours? Does your child tell you about who is calling before the phone rings? Have they ever mentioned loved ones who have crossed over giving them messages or stories from your past? Then you may be experiencing a very normal occurrence of child psychic awareness.
Children from a very young age as early as 2 can often sense energies that seem to baffle adults, and they do not have that need to suppress what they see or feel. However, many times these sensations can be quite scary, and they should be address with kit gloves. If you’re willing to speak with your child about their experience first and foremost do not give them leading questions.
Depending on their age and ability to speak their thoughts clearly allow them to come to you in what ever way they feel most comfortable. Asking leading questions or prying can make them feel like they are a victim, or feel like they are not normal. When they have a question or some information that they want to share it may come out in pictures allow them to have plenty of crayons and paper to express these visions. If they are verbal allow them to talk to you and listen with compassion, ask them how their experience has made them feel, or if they would like to talk to anyone else about it.
Many times they will tell you bits and pieces, and it may not sound or feel right to you, but to them it makes perfect sense. As a responsible parental can do is keep a journal of these events, and be mindful of things that seem to have a pattern. If the child is currently going through some emotional trauma such as divorce, death of a loved one, or medical situation it may be that they are experiencing stress/anxiety and the events will pass once they regain some sort of normalcy.
Understanding the why of these events is just as important as dealing with the fact that they are happening in the first place. Once it has been established that your child is gaining information from a supernatural source it is important to find someone they are comfortable with to discuss what is happening. You are their first person of choice because they have come to you to share these visions. If you have someone you know that has previous experience in these matters it would be time to ask them if they would step in and assist with any questions the child or you may have.
You may also have a pastor or someone of faith who can help discern your child's information. Another resource which may or may not be readily available to you is a local ghost hunting chapter or paranormal research facility. Before you enlist services from a group first do your own research into their background. Many groups out there are very good, reliable and committed to paranormal investigations and research, but like with all things some are not so enlightened.
If nothing else listen to your child, do no blow them off or make them feel like they are performing. Do not ask them zillions of questions and make them feel like they are a freak. It will damage their personal and spiritual growth. Not everyone will respond well to a psychic child, and so they must be taught to not offer this information to strangers, or those who would seek out to manipulate them. Like anything else they must be shown stranger danger also in the psychic world.
If they are being pestered by a spirit they need to learn that they can say to that unwanted presence to leave them alone. Also, if they are truly gifted it is important to teach them how to protect themselves from unwanted energies, by learning positive energy work, blessings of their faith, and/or spiritual protection. I will be addressing these issues in further writings.
If you have a child who is currently experiencing paranormal activity I would like to hear from you. I have 6 children of my own and 4 of them I know for a fact are psychic kids. As a parent born with clairvoyant ability I have a unique approach to teaching children how to live with the psychic world.

How to Empower Yourself and Manifest your Future
Believe... and suddenly anything is attainable."...take steps towards your desire and allow the Universe to manifest it into your physical experiential reality in ways The Universe will take care of."
The most important law of manifesting is knowing what you desire already exist. Dwelling on what you do not have is the main basis for stopping the process of manifestation. The more energy you give to things that you feel are negative the more you will push yourself into darkness. Understanding that you truly hold the keys to your success or your demise is the next most important thing to examine while in the process of manifesting your future.
Let me show you how to break out of your mental, physical and spiritual prison, and shine the light of hope, compassion, consistency and joy for years to come.
Manifesting 101
Manifesting 101
In order to manifest that which will bring you fulfillment, joy, purpose and abundance, it is necessary to understand the steps that will allow such things to come into your life with purpose. Take a moment with open mind to view these steps to creating your new bountiful future.
Intentions: You must be fully aware of what it is that you really want. You must have a clear definition. You can not simply say I want change. You must be specific what kind of change it is that you seek. If you are not specific you may find that the change which occurs will be all towards a downward spiral. Freeing yourself to be able to say I want positive forward movement in my change will be an incredible empowerment tool for your future success.
Be Mindful: That old expression garbage in garbage out here comes to mind. If you continually take in negative thoughts, surround yourself with friends, or even family who continually tell you there is no way you can over come you will never amount to anything then guess what? You won't. If you take your intentions to another level, and say I intend to listen to new creative ways to bring success and peace of mind in both my personal and professional life; then you will start to break those old reckless cycles and move forward.
Show Gratitude: I can not stress enough how important it is for you to be thankful for your current situation. This time in your life has brought you to the steps of your greatest accomplishment yet; abundance, creativity, success and boundless positive energy that will push you forward. Once you have been to the very bottom there is no other place to go then up. Be thankful for your failures they will be your inspiration.
Allow Forgiveness: Showing compassion for what has brought you to this time in your life has great meaning. It is the life blood of all of the things in your past that have placed you in a sense of powerlessness, or success. Once you make that decision to forgive others where it is possible, or even proper, and then make that leap to forgive yourself, and find peace you will be on your way to experiencing who you are truly meant to be.
Honesty is paramount here seeking out that which causes you pain, however, is not always an easy task. This may require a professional to speak with one who is caring and understanding and can help teach you ways to deal with these personal issues.
(author note): There are real honest situations where forgiveness is not possible for you, or for the person involved; have respect and compassion to know the difference.
Take Action: Let the new positive thought and energy flow; do not impede forward movement no matter how small it may seem at first. All things are connected. Every time you made a decision; including those times when you really felt like you did not make any type of decision comes into play here. You must be willing to accept the things you have done, and be prepared to make new choices for the future. You are an active participant in your manifestation of your positive future.
Follow Through: Whether you take your first step, or you stumble keep moving don't quit!!! Know that you are blessed simply because you breathe. Believe in yourself for it will be your greatest asset, and your truest virtue. If you have made a decision to work this plan towards you future success then let me be the first to congratulate you, you have taken your first step towards abundance and peace of mind.
I will be writing on each of the sections which are vital to success on this path I do so hope that you will find it useful.
manifesting 101 series INTENTION
Declaring Your Intentions
An affirmation states that a goal is already happening. I’m not crazy about this because, often when we affirm something that is not yet real, the little voice in our head usually responds with “This isn’t true, this is BS…On the other hand, a declaration is not saying something is true, it’s saying we have an intention of doing or being something. This is a position the little voice can buy, because we’re not stating it’s true right now, but again, it’s an intention for us [with an eye towards] the future. Harv Eker from Secrets of the Millionaire Mind
DECLARE YOUR INTENTION
How many times have you said to yourself I did it with the best of intention? And the next thing you know everything just simply falls apart. Intentions are necessary for forward movement, however, intention set out without proper planning and motivation can lead to failure. If you have something that you are intending to do you must understand why you are intending to do it. The why is the base of the intent it is the core of the matter. Doing something simply because you think it will change how someone feels about you is intention without merit for most times it matters not what you do, or say to the person you are trying to please. Doing it because you want to create a change within you and your life towards the positive is intention with merit; it will most always bring you joy and contentment.
Learning how to set an intention, or goal is the next step in growing towards making the right choices. There are short term goals and long term ones, and it is important to have a few of both. Why? Understanding where you have come from and where you are moving towards in terms of your bigger picture will give you more energy to want to keep creating positive change. Knowing that you have obtained a short term goal will give you the strength and conviction to say yes I can. When you create positive change in your life others will see this and they will either support you with open arms, or leave by the wayside. In many cases those who do leave were not really meant to be there in your life in the first place. There is sadness when you do eventually come to a point where people are leaving from your life; do not let this grief stay within your mind though it will hinder your growth.
Change can cause grief you are essentially going through a mini death. When change occurs old habits are left while new ones now take priority. How long should you grief? No one should tell you how long to continue grief, but there does come a time when you must lay that burden down in order to receive new joy and peace of mind. I am reminded of a Chinese proverb where a novice was confronted with terrible grief and the master asked the novice how long he was going to carry his burden. The novice replied, “Master do you not see how much pain I suffer?” The master then turned to the novice and said “Do you not see how much peace you are denying?” Take on your grief allow it to show itself and then ask yourself how long you want to keep denying yourself peace
Intention means purpose. What is your purpose today? Do you feel the need for change? Are there things in your life that you have been denying yourself that you can finally decide today to say I will work towards it with a positive decision towards change? Say this out loud yell it if you feel the need I will make a choice to stand up for myself and to create a new purpose. I intend to make this change today and then say out loud what that intention is exactly. If it is to quit a vice then state firmly what you will replace this vice with in order to fill the void that will inevitably be left.
Many times a vice such as over eating needs to be replaced with an action. Taking a walk, reading your bible, phoning a friend instead of taking a bite of something you know is not good for you is a good positive change towards ending such a vice. Remembering that nothing changes over night and that it takes 21 days to change this will help you push forward. Each time you make a better choice, and do not give into to your old ways you will be creating positive energy, and this energy will help push you to your goal.
What if the vice is another human being? Being involved in a bad relationship is one thing usually it takes care of itself by simply dissolving; you split up and start again. However, there are some relationships that are just truly toxic. Clients will talk about how much they love the person; and how they would simply be willing to do anything to get them back into their good graces. And each time they do “reconcile” within months, or less they are again broken and devastated that they are experience the same thing over again. What is said most by both men and women is I love them why would they do this to me? Love is compassionate it is not threatening, or abusive in any manner. Love does not destroy someone it adds to their joy of being alive. It does not say oh let me take you off that shelf I put you on and play with you for a while, then put you back until its convenient for me to stop by again.
If you find that you are in this sort of relationship I am here to tell you that this pattern will never change. How do you fix it? You don’t. Most likely you were raised to do the right thing all the time every time, and when you run into someone who you think has the same values, but later find out something else, and you try to bring them up to your level; you will be disappointed every time. Again this goes back to the value system that the person learned early in childhood, and or in their young adult life. If they do not understand that it is not morally correct to use a person and leave them in a puddle of despair without so much as a good-bye then they will never come up to your expectations of decency.
Those who recognize that there is no real relationship here and move on have made the best decision possible. On the other hand those who keep saying what did I do wrong, how can I fix this tell me what to do; those people are in a toxic relationship. They will resort to anything in order to get that person back into their life. Many times they will turn to those who work in the occult to bring about a love spell, or some other type of magic that binds the soul of their desire. These things never work out right, and in some instances they can lead to death. The words love spell seems harmless enough right? It seems like it’s just something fun that can take away the sting of a relationship gone amuck, but let me tell you it can be your worst nightmare come true. I have a lady friend I will call Marta who decided she wanted to purchase a love spell from a local woman because the man she wanted had decided to go back to his wife. The spell was produced and the man became intoxicated again with her; however it was to the point where she was so over whelmed by him that at one point she had declared him a stalker. She could not do anything to get away from him she was trapped in her life until she finally could not take anymore and moved out of state. The lesson here is that if you decide to bind another soul to yours consider Marta, and make a choice to walk the other way.
Finally, you must believe that you have what it takes inside to make changes. You must be convinced that yourself worth and your life situation no matter how bleak can be change even if it is only your thoughts that change first. You have an amazing capacity for creating, and for bringing about change everything you need to do that is inside of you. You have already started to make those new changes by taking in new information that is stimulating a desire for positive change now. Take some time today to write out a few short term goals and then at least one long term goal. Write out how you want to move forward with these goals, and remember write down specifically what you want that final goal to look like so that you can recognize when you have finally achieve that goal. What the mind can conceive the body can achieve.
Manifesting 101 Series Mindfulness
Mindfulness
While washing the dishes one should only be washing the dishes, which means one should be completely aware of the fact that one is washing the dishes. At first, glance, that might seem a little silly. Why put so much stress on a simple thing? But that’s precisely the point. The fact that I am standing there and washing these bowls is a wondrous reality. I am completely myself, following my breath, conscious of my presence, and conscious of my thoughts and actions. There’s no way I can be tossed around mindlessly like a bottle slapped here and there on the waves.— The Miracle of Mindfulness by Thich Nhat Hanh. p.3 [ ISBN Amazon.com ]
The art of mindfulness is to be solely in the moment without judgment or anticipation of the next moment. As you are in the moment you are becoming increasingly aware of whom you are at your core. Becoming aware of your physical body or your spiritual body and simply focusing on the moment at hand. So many times we go through our daily lives rushing from one event to the next leaving little if no time at all to stop and become fully aware of what we are doing.
When we come to the point where we do become mindful there is a realization that we are in fact responsible for everything we have in our life. Taking self inventory of personal actions or non actions will bring out good traits and those traits that must be responsibly laid to rest. If you find that you are experiencing overly negative thoughts, or that your actions are hurtful to yourself or others then you must come to the realization that your behavior must change. It can be painful to come to the conclusion that you are causing yourself to suffer needlessly.
Becoming mindful can push feelings up from your root where you have to acknowledge them in the full light of day. Recognizing that you have created ways to shove these feelings deep within, but also have the same ability to create peace of mind through right actions and healthy mindfulness can bring about recovery of mind, body and soul.
Lessons to Being Mindful 1. One thing at a time. There is a Zen proverb which exemplifies mindfulness “when walking, walk. When eating, eat.” Experiencing one task at a time will help the mind stay on that task. If you find your mind wandering to the next task, or something from the past bring yourself back to the moment immediately by forcing yourself to concentrate only on what you are doing. This does take the beginner time to grasp at first. Remembering that it takes 21 days to make or break a habit will allow you to be more patient.
The rule here is to not take on more than one task at a time.2. Do not rush. Allowing yourself the time to do the task at hand slowly and deliberately will help you focus.3. Do not over task yourself. There are only so many hours in the day and trying to over compensate by getting more things done, does not mean that each task you take on will be done well, or mindfully. Learn how to delegate your task if necessary in order to take in fully each and every moment.
You must in the beginning of each day decide what you can and can now live with. If there are matters that must be tended to then they take priority and then if you have time left over then decide what can be done or what can wait till the next day. More times then not you will have to say no I do not have the desire to push myself into taking on to much.
There are some around you who will decide that you are changing and if they care about you they will enjoy the new you, if they are only around you because of what you can do for them, then they will tend to not be around as much as you say no more to them. In between each task allow yourself at least 5 minutes to bring yourself back to center and balance.
Having a fresh mind and present mindfulness will allow you to be fresh for the next task.4. Worry? Tell me did worry ever give you peace of mind? Can worry ever give you more minutes to your life? Can worry ever do anything but rob you of precious time? Of course the answer to all these questions is a resounding no, but even though we can intellectually say that there is no good grounds for worrying about an event; nonetheless it still happens.
The next time you have a nagging need to worry stop and place your right hand on your chest and take 3 good deep breathes through the nose and out the mouth. Why? It takes your conscious mind off your meddling worry and back the present moment.

Manifesting 101 series Gratitude
Gratitude
"To educate yourself for the feeling of gratitude means to take nothing for granted, but to always seek out and value the kind that will stand behind the action. Nothing that is done for you is a matter of course. Everything originates in a will for the good, which is directed at you. Train yourself never to put off the word or action for the expression of gratitude."
~ Albert Schweitzer ~
It is easy to see what we have in our lives, and yet feel that it is not enough. There is always someone who seems to have more than they need, or are careless with what they have. Do they really have everything they need? Gaining things for many seems to be the way of showing how important they are in society. It’s not enough to have a lot of things, but to have the biggest best things. In the end though all of those things will never once say thank you, I love you, you are kind, or you are important.
When you feel yourself stressing because you don’t have the latest thing, or the best of something else; remind yourself that it is deeply important to be thankful for what you have. Just as much as there are those who have exactly what you think you want there are those who have not nearly as much as you do. Also remind yourself that it is not things that show caring it is those who are your loved ones and even those who you just meet in your daily life.
One of the most important lessons in abundance is to give thanks for your current situation. Many times what you are going through is not something that someone else has not already been through themselves. However, when it is happening to you directly you feel like you are alone and that no one understands. In these hours it is important for you to take a few steps back and be thankful for the unrest you feel now will be a stepping stone towards your future. When life gets you down, when you’re hurt, angry, confused or frustrated take a moment to stop place your right hand over your heart, take 3 deep breathes in through the nose and out through the mouth, and search for something to be grateful for.
It can be anything your family, health, job, roof over your head, the fact that you know you will have a next meal, your friends, anything that brings you immediate comfort. When someone acts unkind towards you remember you have those who care for you, take that experience and use it to be mindful of patience and understanding. When a storm comes and makes a mess of the trees in your yard, or an animal tears up your trash because there is too much sticking out of the garbage can, be grateful and think on those who are homeless.
When you are angry about the hours you have for your job show gratitude for having that job as currently there are since 2001 well over 17 million people who are jobless. When there is suffering anywhere in the world be thankful that you live in a country where you have your freedom of choice.Think on these things Keep a journal of all things you are thankful for in your life. At first it may not be much to write down, but as you go through the 21 days of creating a new habit you will no doubt have many more.Understand that you have free will.
You can choose to make an event more or less stressful. Your attitude about how you perceive the situation will either create peace, or more of the same suffering you have gone through in the past. Do not continue to go to a dry well expecting clean drinking water it will not happen. Change through experience and perspective will be the drive you need to freely make healthy and proper decisions.Realize jealousy has no place in creating peace of mind. Jealousy will only fuel desire to do the things that take you further away from your center, and create only bitterness.
Being grateful for what you have in your life now truly happy this will help guide you to peace and a desire to help others less fortunate. Creating new bonds allowing people to grow out of your kindness this will foster non jealous behavior.Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire. If you did, what would there be to look forward to? Be thankful when you don't know something for it gives you the opportunity to learn. Be thankful for the difficult times. It is during those times you grow. Be thankful for your limitations. They give you opportunities for improvement. Be thankful for each new challenge.
These will build your strength and character. Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons. Be thankful when you're tired and weary. This will mean you've made a difference. It is easy to be thankful for the good things. A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who realize thankfulness for the setbacks. GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles and they can become your blessings. ~Author Unknown~

Manifesting 101 series Forgiveness
Forgiveness
If I cannot forgive myself for all the blunders that I have made over the years, then how can I proceed? How can I ever Dream perfection-dreams? Move, I must, forward. Fly, I must, upward. Dive, I must, inward, to be once more what I truly am and shall forever remain." ~ Sri Chinmoy~
We are taught in youth to say we are sorry for things we say and do, but what mostly happens is that we just glare at the person, and say sorry as if we are cursing them with our very breath. In youth we do not fully comprehend the amount of pain that words or actions can cause. We must be taught that the sharpest sword of all is our tongue. Many times we lash out in anger because we feel were are not heard, no one cares so why bother to be compassionate, or even civil.
Where there is no guide to show us what is proper we can tend to go from wrong speech to wrong actions of hitting, and other forms of abuse. If you have been on the receiving end of such hatred then you know it can be life changing. The more pain that is placed on you the more you wish to hide it out of sight. It is in that pain that you will lash out in some form or another. You will find a way to try and make all of that pain disappear. Unfortunately much of the ways you will try will be self destructive.
This self destructive behavior can take the form of, but is not limited to: changing food intake, drugging, drinking, acting out in a sexual manner, unsavory friends, and cutting. All of these behaviors are serious and never should be underestimated at the amount of long term damage they can cause. If you are experiencing any of these actions tell someone immediately. A loved one, a priest, a friend, sometimes even a total stranger.
Take action stand up and say this far and no further can I carry this burden alone. Many wonder if the person who creates the painful action even cares. I am here to tell you that the pain of another is not felt generally by the giver of the physical or mental abuse. The person who doles out the painful action is not trying to understand how deeply the words or the strike hurts the individual. They are self absorbed and unable to deeply feel anything. If they were able to understand, or have compassion then they would know what they were doing was deeply wrong.
You must understand that you are not there in that situation to change them. You are only responsible for your actions and what you do next to help yourself become removed from that which causes you harm.Once you have managed to get to the core of what is causing your suffering you must come to terms with it; how long this process takes is based on individual choice, and experience. Realizing that you can break free of the internal prison you have made for yourself, and learn healthy ways of dealing with stress.
There is one more thing to consider here when you are working through past or present pains; it is the nagging need to understand why someone would hurt you in the first place. A lot of times people who are the close to you will be the ones to hurt you the deepest. If a person loves another how could they do this terrible thing? Many times that answer never comes to light. Again if a person can easily hurt another they are not thinking about anyone, but themselves.
You may never fully understand the root of the problem, but you can change how you deal with it in the next moment.“When you forgive somebody who has wronged you, you’re spared the dismal corrosion of bitterness and wounded pride. For both parties, forgiveness means the freedom again to be at peace inside their own skins and to be glad in each others’ presence."~Fredrick Buechner~
Author Final Note: It is important to know that it is not always the right thing to do to forgive someone who has hurt you, in this case what you can do is forgive yourself for not saying something sooner, or for not being able to take action as it was happening. You are doing something now about it that is what is most important.

Action Steps Set both short term and long term goals. Put into place a plan for success in fulfilling these goals.Realize that there will be set backs, and they are a natural part of growth. Use these set backs as learning tools. Remove yourself from negative thinkers these people will never support your growth, and will always find reasons why you can’t succeed.Believe in yourself. What ever the mind can conceive you will achieve.
Think bigger than what you have now. If you train your mind into thinking on successful outcomes you will allow yourself to meet any goal. Have an idea of success. You are only limited by your own thought. Positive Mental Challenges Never say it’s impossible. Never let a set back keep you off your target goal. Never allow lack of knowledge to stop you.
Seek out those who have done whatever it is you are lacking at the time. Never let fear of failure force you into I can’t mentality. Never take an idea and say it’s useless until you have tried all your options. Then try again. Remove yourself out of that box of frustration you have been living in take a step out into the light of reason. Remember always SUCCESS IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER. Food for your mind and
SoulCourage is the discovery that you may not win, and trying when you know you can loose. Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying “I will try again tomorrow.” There are no failures- Just experiences and your reactions to them. Anyone can give up it’s the easiest thing to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart; that is true strength. You are the embodiment of the information you choose to accept and act upon. To change your circumstance you need to change your thinking and subsequent actions. A true friend sees the good in everything, and brings out the best in the worst of things. If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.
Man can live about forty days without food, about 3 days without water, about 8 minutes without air, but only 1 second without hope. Have the courage to say no. Have the courage to face the truth. Do the right thing because it’s right. These are the magic keys to living your life with integrity.
A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out. Time goes by so fast and people go in and out of your life. You must never miss the opportunity to tell these people how much they mean to you. When it is obvious that the goals can not be reached, don’t adjust the goal, adjust the action steps. It is difficult to inspire others to accomplish what you have not been willing to try.
People come into your life and people leave it. You just have to trust that life has a road mapped out for you. Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened. Happy are those who dream dreams and are ready to pay the price to make them come true. The secret of health for both mind and body is not to morn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.
All your life you are told the things you can not do. All your life they will say you’re not good enough or strong enough or talented enough; they will say you’re the wrong height, or the wrong weight or the wrong type to play this or be this or achieve this. They will tell you no, a thousand times no, until all the no’s become meaningless. All your life they will tell you no, quite firmly and very quickly, and then you will tell them YES!!!

Getting excited about changing your future and learning the techniques to handle things with mindfulness and grace can stir a lot of high energy. This excitement can carry you through a vital time in your life, but it is after the newness wears off that it can get difficult, and the temptation to revert to old habits can come back to surface.
What do you do when you know that you need to keep moving forward, but find yourself doubting that things will ever change? Every day, you have got to read, listen to audio programs, talk with people who are on the same path as you are, and surround yourself with things that energize you. Methods for Maintaining a Positive Attitude Choose your thoughts carefully.
You have the power to control what you are thinking. Realize that you can be happy right now doing whatever it is that you are doing. It all comes down to changing the way you think. Read something positive daily. If you are constantly reading about death and murder, your outlook could be influenced negatively. Try reading something positive for 15 to 30 minutes a day so that your mind is anchored in positive thought. Affirm your potential each day.
Make a list of 10 positive things you can say about you, and repeat them every morning. Repeat thoughts like "Success is in me," or "I was born for greatness." You can also have a motivational quote of the day sent to you from sites such as http://www.motivationalquotes.com/ Limit the time you spend around negative people. Try to associate with positive people. Negative people can have toxic attitudes and try to make you think that your ideas are undoable. Combat this by surrounding yourself with people who have the attitude of "I can" and "I will."
